Timegrapher
One of the most importent tools for the home watchmaker.
This enables you to trouble shoot and regulate watch movements.
eTimer
Get a professional grade timing machine without breaking the bank.
This is my preferred timing device it has virtually all the same capabilities as the machines they run $2000 and more.

Jewel Press
OK so it’s not a Horia jewel press but it works well enough to press friction fit jewels in and out of modern style movements.
If you plan on working on working on old pocket watches this ain’t gonna cut it.

Soldering Iron
This is the style of soldering iron I used in the video about how to reduce the inner coil of a mainspring.
It’s really the only way to heat the inner coil without messing up the whole mainspring.
Ultrasonic Cleaner
For most home watchmakers ultrasonics make the most sense for cleaning watch parts.
I use the six liter version of this machine but you can also pick either the three or two liter.
Food DRYer Dehydrator
Probably the easiest way for a home watchmaker to dry their watch parts.
If you use an ultrasonic with water base cleaners and rinses along with IPA alcohol, This is the easiest way to do it.
LAb Mixer
This is a similar lab mixer that I used in the video on how to supercharge your ultrasonic machine.
The combination of Rotary motion inside an ultrasonic machine brings the best of both worlds into a home watchmakers shop.
Ultrasonic LAb BEakers
The plastic holder for the beakers can be cut to size to fit inside your ultrasonic machine.
Then you’re beakers are suspended in the water bath. This is ideal and necessary if you’re adding the lab mixer to an ultrasonic machine.
demagnetizer
If you’re not ready to step up to an Elma demagnetizer yet, this is probably the next best thing.
Play the movement in the center push the button once then rotate the movement 180° press the button again and you’re done.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy

Digital Microscope
If you don’t have the budget or the space for a full microscope setup this the best thing.
Now you can get up close for inspection watch parts and jewels.
Grobet Quick Change Handle
This handy dandy rotary tool handle Replaces the original one and makes quick work of changing out bits or polishing wheels.
Grobet Flex Shank rotary tool
Yep there’s a lot of polishing and watch repair.
From crystals to cases to bracelets, this tool has many purposes in the shop.
Rotary Tool Hanger
We can’t lay the Rotary tool on your bench so you need a way to hang it. There’s certainly a lot more expensive setups but this works perfectly for me.
Cyclotester
Used to wind automatic watches to test the automatic modules in watches.
Basic winder but works well.
